What is Ecomato?
Ecomato is a Shopify app that builds and publishes product pages, home pages, and collection pages using AI and premium templates. Unlike page builders, it outputs native Liquid sections that live inside your theme — no scripts, no iframes, no performance penalty.
How does the credit system work?
Importing a product costs 0.10 credits. AI content rewrite costs 1 credit per product. AI content and image regeneration costs 3 credits per product. Credits reset monthly. Pro plan users can purchase extra credit packs that never expire.
What is a template publish?
A template publish is when you push a page live to your Shopify theme. Previewing inside Ecomato is always free and unlimited — a publish slot is only used when you make the page live on your actual store.
Will Ecomato slow my Shopify store?
No. Ecomato publishes standard Liquid sections into your theme. There is no JavaScript running on your storefront from Ecomato. After publishing, your pages load exactly as fast as native Shopify theme pages.
What happens if I uninstall Ecomato?
Every page you published before uninstalling keeps working exactly as it was. Your published pages belong to your theme, not to the app. Nothing breaks, nothing disappears.
Can I import products from AliExpress?
Yes. Paste any AliExpress product URL into Ecomato. It pulls the title, description, images, and variants automatically. Keep the original content for free, or use AI credits to rewrite it for your brand.
