Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ecomato, operated by Kashyap LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using Ecomato, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Ecomato is a Shopify app that helps merchants import products from URLs, rewrite content with AI, preview premium templates, and publish native Liquid sections into a Shopify theme for product, home, and collection pages.

Eligibility and Shopify account

You must have authority to install apps on the Shopify store you connect. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activity under your installation.

Plans, credits, and billing

  • Plans include Spark (free), Starter, Growth, and Pro as described on our pricing page.
  • Paid plans are billed through Shopify Billing on a monthly basis unless otherwise stated.
  • Credits are consumed by import and AI actions as disclosed in-product before confirmation.
  • Monthly plan credits do not roll over. Extra credit packs available on Pro never expire.
  • Publishing to Shopify requires a paid plan. Previewing templates is available on Spark.
  • You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel in Shopify. Changes follow Shopify Billing rules.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Ecomato to violate Shopify’s terms, applicable law, or third-party rights
  • Import or publish content you do not have rights to use
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or overload the service
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-written where disclosure is legally required
  • Use the service for fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing storefronts

Your content and published pages

You retain ownership of your store content. By using Ecomato, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service (import, AI rewrite, preview, publish). Liquid sections published into your theme become part of your Shopify theme files under your control. Uninstalling Ecomato does not remove already-published theme files unless you delete them in Shopify.

AI features

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated titles, descriptions, and images before publishing. Ecomato does not guarantee ranking, conversion, or commercial results.

Third-party services

Ecomato integrates with Shopify and may fetch product data from URLs you provide. We are not responsible for third-party sites, their availability, or their terms. Your use of Shopify remains governed by Shopify’s agreements.

Intellectual property

The Ecomato name, logo, templates, software, and branding are owned by Kashyap LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of our IP beyond the limited license to use the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

ECOMATO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KASHYAP LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR ECOMATO IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kashyap LLC from claims arising out of your storefront content, imported URLs, AI-published pages, or misuse of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Ecomato by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or risk to the service. Provisions that should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Wyoming shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where prohibited.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
